Prevent Inspection BV was stablished in 2016 by two experienced surveyors. We offer services for certification inspection in accordance with the European regulation for inland vessels throughout Europe to Dutch registered vessels and we respond at short notice to request for inspections
Hull and Safety inspections
Prevent Inspection provides certification inspections for inland navigation and pleasure craft in accordance with European regulations for inland navigation and pleasure craft. We perform this work in collaboration with Register Holland for: Hull & safety
- Trials for new constructed vessel and vessel after being renovated
- Noise measurement for new construction, renovation and built-in engines
- Installation statements for engines that meet the emission requirements (CCR)Inspection
- Drawings & calculations for new construction and renovation
- Testing of (container) stability calculations
- Inspection of leak calculations
We do this for motor cargo ships, floating equipment, push boats, bunker ships, bunker stations, day passenger ships, hotel passenger ships (hull only), pleasure craft, ferries, cargo push barges and pontoons.
Ultrasonic thickness hulls
The performance of ultrasonic thickness measurement upon hulls in connection with the inspections for certification of inland vessel in accordance European regulations for inland navigation and pleasure craft.
Test trials
The performance of test trials and witness if the manoeuvrability are in accordance to European regulations for inland navigation and pleasure craft.
Noise Measurement
We measure the noise produced by combustion engines. The noise levels will be measured and recorded in the engine room, wheelhouse and accommodation and we check if they are in accordance to European regulations for inland navigation and pleasure craft.
Installation verification engines
We check if new delivered and installed engines on board inland vessels meets the emission requirements (CCR) and provide documents for the certification.
Drawing Verifications
We verify if drawings for new building, re-building or modifications in accordance to European regulations for inland navigation and pleasure craft.
Calculation Verifications
We verify if calculations for new building, re-building or modifications in accordance to European regulations for inland navigation and pleasure craft.
